These 4K coolers were originally designed by VeriCold Technologies which is now an Oxford Instruments company. These two-stage pulse tube coolers achieve temperatures below 4K. The innovative design separates the rotary valve from the cold head with a flexible gas line. Since the rotary valve and the compressor are the sources of most of the vibration, vibrations are highly reduced  and complete electrical isolation is obtained.
